Sean is currently Principal Creative for Shopify global merchant services. Prior, Sean was Director of Creative at Grubhub and Seamless where he oversaw all facets of marketing and advertising creative; producing work both in-house and with agency partners to support CRM, B2B, driver, restaurant, local and national campaigns and initiatives.

Previously, Sean was the Creative Director of Threadless, Chicago’s first tech wunderkind. There, he built and led a full-service, in-house creative, content, and user experience department to support one of the largest design communities in the world.

Some of Sean’s agency experience includes BBDO in Chicago, Huge in New York and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco. He has extensive experience in branding, design, advertising and UI/UX. His work has been recognized by The One Show, Cannes Lions, London International, Communication Arts, The Webby Awards and Lüerzers Archive, to name a few.

Sean is a co-founder of the Chicago chapter of The Awesome Foundation and has served on a creative review committee for the Ad Council. He lives in Highland Park, Illinois with his wife, their three kids and one snoring Boston Terrier.
